Frequently asked questions

Optical deviations and nuances compared to exhibited or depicted products may occur. Due to climatic influences, color changes can occur. Veins, color nuances, pores and hairline cracks are part of the surface of natural stones and are no reason for complaint. A deviation of 3 mm on the thickness and 3 mm on all other dimensions is also permitted. No complaint will be accepted after the tiles have been installed.

Color differences are characteristic of many natural stones. It is precisely this property that distinguishes this material from another. Sometimes the natural stone is marketed with all its differences. Certain slates and sandstones can also show great variation. Even though some natural stones are heterogeneous, mixing is always the message.

The gray Kandla stones can get small beige or light brown discolorations after installation. This is a natural phenomenon that does not affect the quality of the stone. After a few periods of frost, this phenomenon will decrease sharply. Tiles with a straight edge can have slight edge breakage. This is not a reason for complaint. Products with long sides (curbs, palisades, stair blocks, etc.) are very difficult to produce without the use of a plastic-based repair kit. Any repaired corners are a normally accepted phenomenon in the world of natural stone and are no reason for rejection. Tiles with a honed or ground surface are sensitive to scratches. Please take this into account when using patio furniture and other external influences. Always install tiles with an uneven surface with a sufficient slope.
